CONTINUES ALL WEEK!
After a fantastic Scholastic Book Fair last year, Westview Hills is happy to announce another fair this year!!! The fair will again be held during the week of conferences, this week, with students having the chance to preview and buy books with their ELA classes Monday, January 26 through Thursday, 29th. The fair will be in full swing during conferences on Thursday night from 5-8:30pm and Friday morning from 8 to noon. The profits from the Scholastic Book Fair are going towards non-fiction, fiction, as well as several comfortable chairs for students to read and lounge on in the IMC! If you're interested in volunteering at the fair, we need help during both conference times. Please fill out the form on this link if you interested in volunteering. http://goo.gl/forms/CbAujsyTtH

CHOIR PERFORMS AT DOWNERS NORTH
Congratulations to the Westview Choir for their fine performance at the Downers Grove North Choral Festival! Our choir represented Westview well with their excellent singing and outstanding behavior. Though short a few members, the group stepped up to the challenge and bravely performed their featured piece with gusto to the delight of the audience. Our singers also joined their voices with those of the Herrick Middle School Choir, the Jefferson Junior High and the Downers Grove North Choirs to present two powerful and impressive closing selections in the festival concert which was rewarded with a standing ovation. Bravo Westview Choir for a job well-done!
