Westview Hills Physical Education classes are so excited to have Sauvé back for another year! Sauvé is a professional Hip Hop Dancer, Choreographer and Motivational Speaker.
He brings a fun and positive experience to our students with a variety of hip hop dance moves intertwined with positive motivational talks .Students with no dance experience to full dance experience can’t wait to come to their Physical Education class to see and hear what Sauvé has in store for them!
Sauvé's approach to teaching goes beyond just showing you how to move. He implements a philosophy where you will learn to appreciate and better understand the art of dancing as well as oneself as an individual. The Westview Hills Middle School Chess Team wins the state championship! 🏆 The team capped off another excellent season by first dominating the SDEAA Conference Chess Tournament. The team won 36 of their 40 total matches, finishing in first place and becoming repeat champions! All 10 Westview competitors won at least 3 of their 4 matches, and 6 Wildcats earned medals by winning all 4 of their matches.
The team then went on to compete in the IESA State Chess Tournament where they finished in first place! We’ll be sharing more about this accomplishment soon, but for now, we’re proud to celebrate our champs! ♟️ #d60wins

Join us for Bilingual Bingo tomorrow, March 4! There are two seating groups available: Early and Late - choose the ticket type that fits your schedule best but know that seats are limited. Please reserve tickets for everyone in your party (adults and children) Each group will have 45 minutes of Bingo in the gym and 30 minutes for a sweet treat in the cafeteria!

Over the weekend 15 members of the Westview Hills chess team competed at the IESA State Chess Tournament in Peoria. After eight matches over two days, the 8th grade level team made up of Aayush, DJin, Jonathan, Fabio, Jeremy, Vihaan, Andrei, Eric, Maggie and Lars finished in 1st place to win the State Championship!
It was a fitting end to a remarkable season for the Wildcat Chess Team. In addition to the team’s success, seven Westview players won individual medals. At the 6th grade level, Yathin and DJun won silver. The 7th grade level saw Ariyan win a bronze. And at the 8th grade level, Jonathan won silver, while Aayush, Vihaan and Fabio won bronze medals. Bodibilig and Arina also earned a combined 7 points at the tournament.
All 15 Wildcats demonstrated excellent mental toughness and represented our school well. We are so proud of you! #d60learns
