Every autumn, Maercker PTA participates in the Reflections arts competition. This program offered by National PTA encourages our students to explore and express themselves through the arts. Attendance has been strong to start the school year at Maercker Intermediate School! For the month of August, 3rd Grade has been awarded the Attendance Belt with a 98.55% attendance rate. Check out the photos of Mr. Bolus passing on the Attendance Belt to the third grade champs!

5th graders have been learning band basics with Band Prelude at Maercker School! #d60learns

The Westview Hills Boys’ Golf Team placed in 14th place in team competition in the Grant Park Sectional at Minne Monesse Golf Course on Wednesday.  Trevor H. was the top Wildcat Golfer and shot 54 and 55 to place in 59th place with a 109 over the 18 hole course.  Ethan H. shot a 116 in 71st place.  Caleb M. shot 119 in his first competitive round, while Jace B. finished in 83rd place. 

Trevor and Ethan will join Reagan K. and Mia H. in the SDEAA Conference Meet on Monday, September 14 at Twin Lakes Golf Course.

A huge congratulations to Reagan K. for qualifying for the IESA STATE MEET next week after firing an 82 at Countryside Golf Course yesterday. She shot a 39 on the front nine including a birdie on the par 5 sixth hole. Despite a slow start on the back nine, she stayed positive and proceeded to par four of the last five holes. We are so proud that Reagan will be making her third straight trip to Metamora for the state meet! #d60learns #d60wins
