Everyone is doing great with the early release days this year! Tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept. 25) is another early release day.

The Westview HIlls boys cross country team competed this Saturday in Shorewood, IL at the Troy Invite. There were 47 schools in attendance and a total of three separate races for all three grades. In the 6th grade race, Westview was represented by Nick M., Nick S, Suvan, Adam, F. and Aronas. It’s a big deal for 6th graders to run a race this big and they did a great job of competing in a race of over 270 runners!
In the 7th grade race, our boys took 1st place. Yebby finished in 2nd, Emmett finished in 5th, Isaac in 13th and Theo in 14th. All four boys earned medals for their impressive races and each ran their best times ever! Also running personal best times were Matthew S., Owen M., Shashank, Owen M., Ahmed, and Amatya.
In the 8th grade race, our boys also took first place. Santi finished in 3rd, Mesfin in 9th, Braden in 17th, and Kasper in 22nd. All four boys earned medals and ran their best times ever! Also running personal best times were Jesus, Jack, Anwar, Oscar, and Khelan. Congrats to our team on a great weekend! Way to go Wildcats!
